The homeowner of an Upper Beaches home wanted to improve the look and stability of the front porch.

The porch pillars had crumbling brick, and missing or mismatched mortar. The porch also had a shingled wall that was dated and damaged.

The project included removing the front wall, repairing the pillars by replacing the damaged brick and repointing to improve the visual consistency.

Working with the homeowner, we identified the brick to remove and replace to balance budget and project goals.
